On Wednesday, July 28th, 2021, I visited Horseshoe Bend near Page, Arizona. The hike about 1.5 miles roundtrip. It gets very hot in the day during the summer so it's best to prepare for this with water and sun protection.
Horseshoe Bend is a very popular tourist destination. It costs $10 to enter the park. For photography, it's best to have a wide angle lens of some kind, or to zoom out with whatever phone you have. Otherwise, it is difficult to get the entire view of the Colorado River in the picture.
At the bend, there are many viewing spots and it is a very steep drop off to the bottom. The best views are right next to the trail. When I went, there was a rainstorm approaching so be mindful of the weather.
