Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve

Last updated: January 28th, 2024

Background

Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve is a park in Antioch, California that has hikes and a mine. I visited Black Diamond Mines and did an 8 mile hike with the Sierra Club on Saturday, March 23rd, 2019. After the hike I decided to do a tour of the Black Diamond Mine. Entering the park costs $5 and the mining tour costs another $5. The parking lot fills up quickly on the weekend. The park offers hikes and history.
