Impression

Cinder Cone is a cinder cone volcano in California's Lassen Volcanic National Park. The path to it is sandy. You can walk to the top of the Cinder Cone and down into it. From Cinder Cone you can see Butte Lake, Painted Dunes and mountains in Lassen Park.

I hiked to Cinder Cone from Butte Lake on August 12th, 2018. After hiking to it, I continued around all the way around Snag Lake, running into a bear. I continued until I was back at the Butte Lake campsite.
