Background
On Monday, December 19th, 2022, I camped at Spirits Bay on New Zealand's North Island. Before arriving, I hiked at Te Paki Sand Dunes and then went to Cape Reinga Lighthouse. Spirits Bay has a long beach with few people. There were people fishing and swimming in the water.
