Impression

On Monday, August 21st, 2017, a Total Solar Eclipse occurred across the United States, from West to East Coast. After researching, I determined Oregon to be one of the best places to experience the eclipse due to the prospect of clear skies. In the process of determining where in Oregon I wanted to be, I learned about Oregon Eclipse Festival, a music festival, from a chance conversation with an Oregon artist while in Breckenridge, Colorado.

Oregon Eclipse Festival took place at Big Summit Prairie, a remote area that sits 4,600 feet above sea level. Over 30,000 people attended the festival and experienced the totality of the eclipse at approximately 10:21AM. It was an incredible experience, the temperature dropped substantially during totality. Looking at a Total Solar Eclipse was like looking into the eye of God.
